England Vs Kazakstan 5-1 review

I'm a big fan of England in footballing-wise. Since i am a ManUtd fan, Rooney is my English star. But yesterday i thought England wasn't playing to their best against Kazakhstan.

Kazakhstan you ask? The first thing that will come up to mind when you hear 'Kazakhstan' will definitely be 'Borat Segdiyev' or 'Azamat Bagatov'. So they shouldn't be a threat to England, should they? You had to ask

England's Players: 1- David James, 2- Wes Brown, 3- Ashley Cole, 4- Steven Gerrard, 5- Rio Ferdinand(c), 6- Matthew Upson, 7- Theo Walcott (15- David Beckham), 8- Frank Lampard, 9- Gareth Barry (18- Shaun Wright-Philllips), 10- Emile Heskey, 11- Wayne Rooney (17- Jermain Defoe)

At the beginning it started to look smoothly as Walcott crossed to an open Heskey but the defence looked they were up to the challenge. #7 of Kazakhstan, Tanat Nusserbayev, looked world class in the first half, i thought he would be good enough to play for some team in the Championship.

Nothing looked good for England until the end of the 1st half as it was a surprising 0-0 score. It was a great performance actually from the Kazakhstan defence as they made England stray into offside positions.

Capello mightve seen the same things as i did that the 4-3-3 formation was failing, so he either had to put Barry on the left or sub Barry with Wright-Phillips - which he did.

The entrance of the pacy Wright-Philips looked the best decision as he made a chance to win a corner via deflection. The corner itself was designed to be a relief as stand-in captain Rio Ferdinand scores from a Frank Lampard corner. 1-0 to England on 52'.

Then a second came shortly after as the Kazakhstani defender of Kuchme headed the ball into his own net - and again from a Frank Lampard set-piece - to make the scoreline 2-0 on 64'.

While England was looking to lengthened their lead, #21 Zhambyl Kukeyev of Kazakhstan capitalized on a horrific error by Ashley Cole. He just came back from injury and the error wouldnt help a bit to his full fitness. I know he's not the best left-back but he's all England have. 2-1 yet still in the lead on 68'.

Superstar David Beckham came on for Theo Walcott on 72' to give rest for the youngster and to add another cap for Beckham, and 4 minutes later Wayne Rooney scores a header from Wes Brown's cross and its 3-1 to England.

Tiring Kazakhstan looked well down and out, and as to the tiring, Wayne Rooney scored his second 4 minutes from time just before he got himself subbed by Portsmouth striker Jermain Defoe. 4-1 to England.

Jermain Defoe himself had time to score one as he finished a shot calmly to score England's 5th as the score standed 5-1 towards full-time.

Finally England won the game but the scoreline wasn't as easy it suggested.
